He was again called to an apology by DEAB Panathinaikos!
The “greens” will be held accountable the next day Monday (22/4) to the Standing Committee on Combating Violence because of the banner that was posted on the Avenue before the match with Lamia in which reference was made to “lockdown in Parliament”.
We remind that the Gate 13 was closed in the match in question, due to a punishment imposed by the Greek Football Association on Panathinaikos for certain individual events before the derby with AEK.
The announcement of the DEAB:
“The Standing Committee on Combating Violence (SCC) announces the following:
A. PAE PANATHINAIKOS is invited to a hearing, on Monday 22/04/2024 at 11:30 a.m., regarding the posting, by its fans, of a banner at door 13-14 that read “Lock the Parliament, not door 13” on which went down after two hours.
The content of this particular banner is political in nature, because it concerns the leading democratic institution of the country (Parliament of the Hellenes), and it is insulting, as it refers disparagingly to it as a pillar of the Hellenic Republic, equating it with Gate 13, of the fans of the so-called PAE, at the same time asking for the closure of the Parliament, implying that it is not performing its work properly.
It is noteworthy that the above-mentioned banner entered the sports facility apparently with the tolerance of the declared PAE, since the administrative sanction of banning the use of gate 13 by spectators had already been imposed, with the decision number 13/2024 of the DEAB.
Application of the provisions of article 14 of Law 5085/2024.”
