Kanaan: “I don’t have answers about my future, if Olympiacos tells me to stay I would like to”

Olympiacos is preparing for its playoff series Euroleaguefacing Barcelona in “Palau Blaugrana” on Tuesday (23/4) and Thursday (25/4)where he will look for, at least, a victory in order to have a serious chance of qualifying for the Final Four in Berlin.

The “red and white” in their last test before the two matches, prevailed at SEF of Prometheus 80-69 with Isaiah Kanaan talking about the said match on the ERT camera.

THE American guardwith his statements, referred to the Euroleague playoffs, emphasized that Panathinaikos AKTOR deserved the advantage in the Stoiximan Basket League, while he did not rule out the possibility of staying at Olympiakos, if asked by the team.

Analytically:

“We have a big test and this was a good match. Prometheus has good guards and they play with a lot of intensity. It’s good preparation for us. Now we have to concentrate for the Barcelona series.

It will be a dynamic game. There will be many different strategies. They have good players. We have to play hard with confidence and stick together. This is the most important thing in this type of games.

I am ready and those who know me know that I live for such moments. I will do whatever it takes for my team. This is of the greatest importance.

It has to do with the ability I have. There are no spots on the floor that I can’t score. I’m confident and expect to make every shot I get. I know I can’t do everything, but I take advantage of what the game gives me.

To become a champion you have to get big away wins. We would all like to start at home, but Panathinaikos deserved it.

Now my job is to win as many games as I can. To continue to do what brings success to my team. I have no answers today about my future. I just want to focus on the crucial part of the season. My agent knows when we need to talk about it and I’ll be ready. If Olympiacos tells me to stay, I will love it.”
