by

A few days after the thrashing by Everton, another one for Liverpool which effectively puts them out of contention for the title in the Premier League.

The “reds” came drew 2-2 with West Ham away resulting in them staying at 75 degreestwo behind Arsenal who have a game in hand and a point behind Manchester City who have two games in hand.

Liverpool appeared once again poor at the start of the match resulting in him finding himself behind on the scoreboard in the 43rd minute with Bowen, with a header after a corner kick. Things got tough once again for Klopp’s men who were called upon to turn the score around to get the win and keep any title hopes alive.

Evidently better, Liverpool at the beginning of the second 45 minutes started to press to achieve the equalizer and managed to do so quickly enough. Just in 48th minute Robertson managed to make it 1-1 and revive his team’s morale and hopes for victory. Things got even better and more favorable as in the 65th minute Areola scored an own goal which gave Liverpool the lead.
