ERT was hosted by Yannis Vroutsisspeaking of the whole matter, regarding the new sports law to deal with violence in the stadiums.
The Deputy Minister of Sports stated that: “Our position is clear, no tolerance for sports misconduct”,while at the same time he noted that for the first time in years there is a serious approach to dealing with violence in stadiums and playing fields speaking to ERT.
For her case murder of the policeman Lyggeridis: “It will continue until the moral perpetrators are discovered”, while he then pointed out that with the new sports law there is a completely different environment than it was in the previous decades.
“With the new measures we will see significant changes in the new sports season. The PAEs are beginning to see the new law positively, even though at the beginning there was a concern, because the law is very strict and cannot be challenged.”
Then, regarding the new ticket system, he emphasized that: “The new ticket system is 100% operational in the new season. The system started working with the identity theme for the first time this year, but we also allowed the other system to exist at the same time so that there is no overcrowding of the world now that the championship ends outside the gates.
They are the most modern cameras in Europe. By law, the cameras monitor every corner of the pitch, even the dressing rooms, which until now have been empty and the referees and agents of the visiting teams have justifiably complained”.
Finally, Mr. Vroutsis noted that what is done with the tickets for football teams will also be done in basketball from the new season: “You see that we are moving forward organized, coordinated, above all with determination and justice.”
