The Milwaukee Bucks saw their very negative season come to an early end with elimination in the first round of the playoffs and they have already started building the new season.
His first action Doc Rivers, who will remain with the team despite his negative record with it, has already sparked debate. In particular, the experienced coach decided to renew his technical team, requesting the dismissal of many of his assistants, among whom DJ Baker, Sidney Dobner and Josh Oppenheimer.
Especially the latter, he has been a member of the “deer” for a number of years, and was a catalyst in physical as well as technical development of Giannis Antetokounmpo to one of the top players in the world.
THE Oppenheimer worked for the Bucks from 2013 to 2016 and from 2020 to 2024, winning the championship with them, while the “Greek Freak” had reported in the recent documentary about his life, that he was one of the most important people in his path. In fact, in 2022 he took him with him to Eurobasketas a member of National team of Greece.
Chris Haynes says that a few Bucks assistants have been dismissed…. Josh Oppenheimer, DJ Bakker, and Sidney Dobner are among them.
