Aurelia Embatombo will be the foreign diagonal of Markopoulou next season. The eastern suburbs club have announced the signing of the 26-year-old French ace for next year.
Embatobo has competed in Italy and France.

“We welcome the French Aurelia Ebatombo to the women’s team of AO Markopoulos Revoil!
The 26-year-old athlete (1998) with a height of 1.86, comes from Italy and Serie 2, competing with the colors of Pallavolo CBL Costa Volpino, while in the past she has competed for teams in Italy, France and Egypt, as well as in Cyprus on behalf of AE Limassol in the 2021-22 season.
Aurelia’s first words as an AOM athlete were: “I am very happy about my transfer to Markopoulos. I have heard great things about this team, so I did not hesitate to accept the management’s offer. Our team will be young, but with great momentum, so I hope with my experience to help achieve the goals we have set.
I really want to discover the Greek league, which I follow and have found that in recent years the level is constantly rising and I know that we will compete against very good teams. I can’t wait to meet my new teammates and our fans and have a great year.”
