Neymar will auction off gold-plated football boots and a poker game with him at a charity event

Scheduled for June 3rd, at the Monte Virgínia club, in São Paulo, the fourth edition of the Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr’s Charity Auction will feature a gold-plated boot as a highlight.

The 18-carat accessory, with diamonds encrusted, was made by designer Pedro Yossef, from a boot worn by Neymar on the field. The item will be separated: one of the feet will be with the winning auction participant and the other in the player’s own possession.

The auction includes opportunities to interact with Neymar, such as in a poker game or a visit to his private go-kart track in Mangaratiba (RJ). In addition, a meeting with the player in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, will be auctioned to watch the Al Hilal football team play in his personal box.

Experiences with other celebrities are also in the catalogue. The chance to play a tennis match with Ronaldo Fenômeno will be on sale; a day following the training of UFC fighter Charles do Bronx and even a barbecue with a pagoda at the house of Léo Pereira, Flamengo defender.

The event expects to receive around 800 participants. In addition to Neymar and his sister Rafaella Santos, the event will be presented by Adriane Galisteu, Roberto Justus and his wife, Ana Paula Siebert, Bruno Avelar (businessman and founder of “O Poder do Network”), Carlinhos Maia, João Silva (son of Faustão), Lívia Andrade, Luciana Gimenez, Patrícia Poeta, Rodrigo Faro, Silvia Abravanel and Tiago Leifert.

All money raised will go towards the Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr programs, which aims to “expand opportunities for children, teenagers and their families in situations of social vulnerability”.

In 2023, the athlete raised more than R$10 million at the event. This year, the goal is to surpass previous fundraising.
