At the moment when Panathinaikos is reportedly waiting for Maurizio Sarri’s decision on the “golden” proposal he has submitted to him, a new publication in Italy brings some new data to the case. According to the Italian journalist, Alfredo Pentula, the Greens have submitted their proposal to the Italian coach about a week ago, with Sarri, at least according to the publication, thanking the Greens for this proposal but not entering into further discussions.
This information contradicts what was conveyed just yesterday by Gianluca Di Marzio who revealed Panathinaikos’ proposal to Sarri. Di Marzio – but also another Italian journalist of Skysports Italia – reported that the Greens have submitted a rich proposal and Sarri asked for time to respond.
We remind you that the information from Greece, which was also conveyed last night by Tasos Nikologiannis on News Bulletin 247, wants Sarri to respond to this proposal within the next few days, possibly by tomorrow, pointing out that the odds are not in his favor of the greens, with the second choice of Panathinaikos for the matter of the coach having more chances to yield a deal.
In the publication, now again, it is stated that the Sari he also has a proposal from Leicester with the Italian coach preferring not to respond to this proposal as well and in general not to be in a hurry to close to any team, as he knows that there is interest even if this has not turned into a proposal from the Lazio and Bologna.
