by

On Monday night (03/06), Mr Novak Djokovic proved once again why he is the No.1 in world tennis for many years!

No matter what he found himself back with 2-1 sets from the Francisco Cerudolowhile dealing with a knee injury problem early in the 2nd set, the massive Nole pulled through and completed a legendary upset with 3-2 sets (6-1, 5-7, 3-6, 7-5, 6-3) after a “marathon” of 4 hours and 37 minutes, celebrating the qualification to the quarter-finals of Roland Garros!

In fact, the 37-year-old Serbian tennis legend managed to make the same number of upsets within two 24 hours, as, in the third round, he had eliminated Muzzetti again with an upset from 2-1, after 4.5 hours! Now, Djokovic awaits the winner of the Fritz Taylor-Casper Rudd pair in the quarterfinals of the event.

However, it is also noteworthy that with his victory tonight, Nole made history, after surpassing the huge Roger Federer in Grand Slam victories, reaching the 370 wins in his career!
