His decision to be a candidate for the presidency of the Super League was announced by Achilles Beos.

With a post on his profile on Facebook the mayor of Volos and a strong man of the group, points out that his goal is equality and organizing a championship worthy of everyone’s expectations, without toxicity.

Achilleas Beos states in detail in his post:

“The latest, undoubtedly positive, developments in the field of football, with the new reality that is taking shape in the Hellenic Football Federation, are in agreement with the principles and values ​​that I serve in the field, without expediency and transactions, and lead me to the decision to submit candidacy for the Presidency of the Super League.

This decision of mine is the result of mature thinking and after considering and evaluating the needs as well as the perspectives that exist, in the light of my many years of experience and tenure in football.

My aim and purpose is to ensure equality and equal treatment of all teams, so that the improvement of the league can also be noted, making it more competitive, but also more attractive to investors, sponsors, fans, television providers.

I believe that together we can reach the organization of a championship worthy of the expectations of both ours and the fans, free from the negative and toxic things that took place at times and which only harm football, reduce its social impact and acceptance, but and its commercial value and ultimately come at the expense of those who truly love and serve it.

I am committed to fighting hard in this direction and to this end I am asking for your support in my candidacy, with the certainty that with the participation of all of us our goals for an honest, competitive, high level league will succeed. It’s time to turn the page”.
