The history of Olympiakos has been marked by many great people, but no one has left such an indelible mark as the president of PAE OLYMPIAKOS, Vangelis Marinakis. With his leadership, dedication and vision, our club remains at the top of Greece and one of the top in Europe.
Fourteen years after taking over the leadership, Vangelis Marinakis, still proves how much he loves the club and believes in it. Under his masterful guidance, our Olympiacos experienced unimaginable successes and won titles that remain a dream for the rest of the Greek teams. Every decision he made was always based on his love for the team, the sport – with respect for the fans.
Vangelis Marinakis has a large share of the winning of 314 titles in team sports, which makes our Olympiakos first in the relevant list of leading multi-sport clubs (together with Barcelona).
But its offer is not limited only to the racing part. Under his leadership, the team’s facilities were upgraded, enviable academies were created and the team’s social responsibility became an example to follow.
