The elevens of the match between Turkey and Georgia

With the match between Turkey and Georgia, the program of the 6th group of Euro 2024 opens (EPT-1, sport-fm.gr, bwinSPORT FM).

A little more than an hour before kick-off at “Signal Induna Park”, the two coaches, Vincenzo Modela and Willy Saniol, announced the elevens with which their teams will line up.

For Turkey, which is typically the home team, the Italian coach chooses Gounok at home with Mildir, Akaidin, Bardakci, Kandioglu in the back four. Ayhan with Kioktsiou in the center of the midfield, while Tsalhanoglou will move in a free role. At the ends, Arda Guler will compete from the right, Yildiz from the left while Yilmaz will be at the top.

On the other side, Vili Saniol picks Mamardashvili for Georgia under the posts, with Kverkvelia, Kasia and Dvali in the center of defence. Kakabatze in the role of right back-half, Chitaishvili in the same role on the left.

Kotsorashvili, Mekvabishvili and Hakvetatze will compete in the center of the midfield, while Mikautatze and Kvaratshelia will compete at the top.
