Ester Jasper is the new member of the PAOK women’s volleyball team. The Two-Headed Amateur has announced the signing of the 23-year-old international Dutch winger for next year to bolster the attack and return to the top of the Women’s Volleyball League.
In the season that ended, Jasper competed in Dresden, Germany.
In detail, the announcement:
“PAOK and the women’s volleyball department announce the start of cooperation with the athlete, Esther Jasper, for the 2024-2025 season.
Born in the Netherlands on 07/05/2001, Ester Jasper competes as a winger and is 175cm tall.
She took her first professional steps with Snick (2016-17), a team from her hometown, with which she even won the Dutch Cup. He remained at Snick for the next two competitive seasons (2017-2019), gaining valuable experience from the European inter-club competitions, playing in the CEV Cup.
The 2019-20 season found him in Thuringia and the German Bundesliga, where he got more performances than the top level.
In the 2020-21 season she remained in Germany, this time on behalf of Stuttgart, with whom she won second place in the Bundesliga, while also competing in the top interclub competition, the CEV Women’s Champions League.
She stayed in Stuttgart for the 2021-22 season and won the domestic double, winning both the Bundesliga and the German Cup, while also competing in the final of the CEV Women’s Cup.
In the 2022-23 season, she played in Potsdam, with which she won the German Super Cup, while also reaching the quarter-finals of the CEV Women’s Cup.
In the previous season (2023-24) she played in Dresden, once again going far in the CEV Women’s Cup, while in the Bundesliga she also reached the semi-finals with her team.
She is an international player with the Dutch national team, having won the Savaria Cup in 2021, while at the same time strengthening her national team’s efforts in the Volleyball Nations League.
Regarding the start of cooperation with PAOK, Esther Jasper stated on the club’s official website, acpaok.gr: “I am very excited to play for PAOK in the new season. I’ve heard so much about the PAOK fans and I can’t wait to play in front of them too. PAOK is a club with an excellent and long history, aiming for the championship.
