Alonso’s “first” in Panathinaikos – Disturbances for Magnuson, Palmer Brown part of training

After two days of ergometric tests and cardiological testing, the Panathinaikos players trained on Wednesday afternoon (19/06) for the first time under the instructions of Diego Alonso.

As far as racing news is concerned, Mr Hordur Magnusson did a milder program due to problems with the patellar tendon, while o Eric Palmer Brown participated in the first part of training before continuing with individual.

It is worth noting that the “green” internationals were absent, as well as the Baldock, Arao who have taken extra days off.

The Panathinaikos players trained for the first time ahead of the new season under the instructions of the team’s new coach, Diego Alonso.

The Greens started with joint drills, continued with rondo and finished the training with ball circulation drills and finishing in small goals.

Palmer Brown participated in the first part of practice before continuing with individual. In addition, Hordur Magnusson experienced discomfort in his patellar tendon and followed a milder schedule.

Absent were the internationals Sporar, Cerin, Verbic, Kleinheisler, Bakasetas, Ioannidis, Mladenovic, Maksimovic, Limnios, Kotsiras and Baldock, Arao, who have taken extra days off.

Triphyllio’s next training session is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
