In this context and with the aim that “all athletes, including those preparing for the 19th World Championship in Budapest, must remain and feel safe and after consultation with them, the National Federations and all interested family members FINA has decided that the upcoming match for the World Men’s Water Polo League between Russia and the Greek National Team, scheduled for March 8, will not be held in St. Petersburg, Russia.
The new venue will be announced in the coming days by FINA.
At the same time, it was announced the cancellation of the FINA Artistic Swimming World Series of Artistic Swimming and Diving World Series of Diving, which were scheduled to take place together on April 8-10 in Kazan. According to the announcement: “Where arrangements can be made for these events, they will be notified as soon as possible.”
