On Thursday, Isabella Di Julio became an Olympiacos volleyball player. The “red and whites” announced the acquisition of the 33-year-old Italian passer for next year, in order to strengthen the passing department in the effort if they return to the title of champion.
For the last two years, Di Giulio has been competing at Del Benet Scandicci in her hometown.
In detail, the announcement:
“OLYMPIACOS SFP announces the start of its collaboration with Isabella Di Julio. The Italian passer (born 26/11/1991, 1.75m) signed her new contract and joins the roster of the club’s women’s volleyball team.
Isabella Di Giulio has extensive experience at the top level and a long-standing presence in the Italian league, with spells at Trevi, Falconara, Scandicci, Loreto, Perugia, Monza and Bergamo. In the two years 2022-24, he played in Scandicci, with which he won the CEV Cup (2022-23).
Isabella Di Iulio’s statement: “Hello (s.s. in Greek). I am Isabella Di Iulio, a new athlete of the Olympiakos team. I am very happy to join this family! We will enjoy the new season. Rest, gather energy, so we can be ready for the new season.”
