PAE Olympiacos announces the signing of 22-year-old midfielder Marko Stamenic. Born on February 19, 2002, in Wellington, originally from Serbia, he is capped 15 times with the New Zealand national team.
After joining the Ole football academy, he played for his native Western Suburbs and Team Wellington, until in September 2020 he transferred to Copenhagen. With the Danish team, he made 23 appearances competing in the Champions League, while winning the Cup in the 2022-2023 season. In the 2021-2022 season he was loaned to Koge (23 appearances, two goals).
In February 2023, he was acquired by Red Star, with whose shirt he made 35 appearances (four in the Champions League), scored two goals and won the Championship and the Cup.
