Olympiacos “beat” Panathinaikos and retained the table tennis champion title

The “red and white” prevailed with 4-3 Panathinaikos wins after a tough five-hour battle in the table tennis hall of SEF, winning the title for the third time in a row and 17th overall in its history!

the croatian Tomislav Pukarit was he who gave the first victory to Olympiakos, prevailing with a 3-0 set of Konstantinopoulos, with the “greens” tying at 1-1, when Lebesson beat him 3-2 Curly bird. The “red and whites” then took a 2-1 lead thanks to a win by Ovcharov, but Panathinaikos found a reaction, equalizing at 3-3, when Gionis beat Sgouropoulos.

Finally, the title was decided in the seventh game, in the doubles, with the Lebesson/Konstantinopoulo to lead with 5-1, but with the Pukar/Ovcharov to come back, taking the first set with 11-8 and the second with 11-9, crowning Olympiakos as champion!
