On the WRC calendar in 2026 and 2027 the ECO Rally Acropolis

For two additional years it will be on his calendar WRC the ECO Rally Acropolis. In fact, starting from 2025, the historic race will return to its old time slot and will be held in early summer.

The agreement was concluded with the signing of a contract between Motorsport Greece and the WRC Promoter, for the inclusion of the EKO Rally Acropolis in the calendar of the Championship in 2026 and 2027.

With almost two months left for this year’s EKO Rally Acropolis (September 5-8), the foundations have already been laid to ensure its future. The most important confirmation in this regard comes with the also two-year extension of the agreement with EKO, which, extending the recent four-year cooperation, will remain until 2027, Name Sponsor and Major Sponsor of the race.

At the table of talks between Motorsport Greece and the WRC Promoter, the issue of the date of the race was also raised. The desire of the Greek organizers was to return the race to its traditional date, at the beginning of summer, which was agreed, with the 2025 ECO Rally Acropolis now scheduled for the end of next June!

The managing director of WRC Promoter referred to the current course of the World Rally Championship through a video message.
