The Peristerians announced the return of the Egyptian midfielder, who was a personal choice of Pablo Garcia, with whom they also worked last season in Panseraic.
The contract signed by Ward has a duration of one year.

PAE Atromitos is pleased to announce the signing of Amr Warda on a free transfer, with our new footballer signing a one-year contract.
Amr Warda was born on September 17, 1993 and plays with equal ease in all three positions behind the striker and is of course known to the Greek public, let alone to the fans of our team.
With the Star on his chest, Amr Wardah has completed two stints, namely the 2017/18 season and the second half of the 2018/19 season, contributing greatly to our team’s excellent runs that have finished two consecutive seasons in 4th place, securing the European ticket to the Europa League qualifiers.
In fact, thanks to his performance in the Atromitos shirt, at the end of the 2017/18 season he was named MVP of the league, having in 28 appearances, 11 goals and seven assists and was also a member of the Egyptian national team at the 2018 World Cup, playing in three matches of his national team in the competition.
In total with Atromitos he has 42 appearances, scoring 13 goals and sharing nine assists. Moreover, Amr Warda has worn, among others, the shirt of Panaitolikos (2015-17), PAOK (2018, 2021), Volos (2020/21), AEL (2019/20), Anorthosis (2021-2023) with which he stood out as the most valuable player of the Cyprus league for the 2021/22 and Panserraikos season.
After the formal completion of the agreement, Amr Warda who chose and took the shirt with the number “7” made his first statements on atromitosfc.gr.
“I am very happy to be here again in Atromitos. You all know what this team means to me. I’ve always said that Atromitos is a family, I’ve said it, I’ve celebrated it with a shirt that this is a family and I’m excited to be back in that family today.
Atromitos has supported me in difficult times, when no one believed me! With Atromitos we have done amazing things together, we have gone to Europe twice and I have personally been named MVP of the championship. My goals now are no different. I want to be MVP again and together we can return to the European competitions.
I want to thank the president, Mr. Spanos, for the trust. We had been in touch over the years and he knew how much I wanted to come back. However, I also thank the Technical Director, Mr. Yiannis Angelopoulos and of course the coach, Pablo Garcia, with whom I always have an excellent collaboration, he understands me and I understand him and I think together we can achieve great things again.
Finally, I want to mention our fans. We have had amazing moments together, we have celebrated many goals and now I want us to relive the same moments and take Atromitos high as a family.
