AO Thiras was strengthened with Andrea Michalievich. The Santorinis have announced the acquisition of the 21-year-old Croatian diagonal for next year, in order to strengthen themselves offensively.
The young ace has been competing in her native Mladost for the past two years.
In detail, the announcement:
“With Andrea Mihaljevic we are strengthening our team for the 2024-2025 Women’s Volleyball League season.
Born on February 21, 2003 in Croatia, 21-year-old Andrea is 1.84m tall. and fights as a diagonal.
Andrea started her career with HAOK Mladost II Zagreb in 2019-2021, continued with OK Dynamo (2020-2022) and again with HAOK Mladost II (2022-2024) before signing with AO Thiras.
“I am excited for my first season outside Croatia and to start my professional career at AO Thiras. I am looking forward to everything that awaits me in the new season and I will do my best to fulfill the goals of the team, but also my personal goals, that is to improve as a person and as a volleyball player” said the athlete upon signing her agreement with A.O. Game.
