What we take away from tonight’s performance: “As our coach told us, it was very important, it was a good test for us, even though we started well. When Egypt caught up to us at half-time, it was a very good test of how to react in such situations. I think we reacted well, all the players are ready to give our best. Now we have to write off this game and focus on Slovenia in two days and we have to be ready.”

For Slovenia: “They are one of the best teams in the tournament. As Giannis has told us, he has the most dangerous player of the tournament, Luka Doncic. They’re a tough team, putting up a lot of points, even though they’ve been missing 3-pointers in recent games. We have to pay attention to this part and play hard defense. We have two days to prepare and present ourselves ready.”

On the status of Costa Antetokounmpo: “He had a knee problem, hopefully it’s not too serious because we need him. I wish him well and that he will be with us soon”.
