The Stoiximan Super League team announced the renewal of its partnership with the Greek half-back, as well as the Argentinian defender for the next season. After all, both helped the first division team to rise to the top division of the Greek league, with the former having 30 appearances (26 in the league), 1 goal and 1 assist, while the latter played in 27 matches and scored two goals.

“Athens Kallithea FC announces that wingback Giorgos Manthatis and central defender Nicolas Marotta have agreed to renew their contracts with the club until the 2024/25 season.
Manthatis and Marotta were key contributors to the team’s promotion to the Super League.
Manthatis, 27, joined AKFC in January 2022 and has made 56 appearances for the club over the past three seasons, including 26 appearances with one goal and one assist during last year’s promotion run, while also serving as the team’s deputy captain.
Manthatis is a former international with the small National teams and emerged from the academy in the first team of Olympiakos, with whom he won the Super League championship in the 2016/17 season.
Marotta, 27, joined AKFC in September 2023 and made 27 appearances in his first season with the club, scoring crucial goals along the way – a late-game winner against Kalamata in December and the goal that decided promotion in the competition against Chania in May.
