The top ergophysiologist, Dimitris Stergiopoulos, returns to AEK

AEK continues its strong upgrading moves.

Of course, beyond the part of transfers at the roster level, there are also those in the other sectors.

In particular, the “Union” shook hands and restarted its cooperation with him top ergophysiologist, Dimitris Stergiopoulos!

The latter previously worked at Olympicfrom which he resigned, in order to return to the ranks of the “biceps”, to which he belonged from 2013 to 2020 (as the Occupational Physiologist of the AEK academies and in charge of the training program).

Dimitris Stergiopoulos graduated from SEFAA (EKPA, Athens 2010) with specializations in Football and Eurostie and Health. He completed his postgraduate studies (MSc), PMS in Exercise Biology, majoring in Occupational Physiology (SEFAA EKPA, Athens 2015).

He is a PhD researcher (Cand) in Occupational Physiology (SEFAA EKPA, Athens) since 2017. He has presented original scientific papers at several conferences and participated as an invited speaker in the scientific biennium of sports injuries of PAE AEK. He holds a UEFA B coaching diploma.

His progress in recent years is impressive. He is a University professor, while, just exactly one year ago, he participated as a speaker in Groningen, Holland for the World Football Conference, where he presented some of the main findings of his study.

It should be noted, in fact, that Dimitris Stergiopoulos has already put everything on the table with Matias Almeidawhile in the next few days it is possible that he will also go to Holland, where the “yellow and black” are carrying out the basic stage of their preparation.
