“I am very happy to return to ASTERA. Mainly because I’m taking on a different role than I’ve had in the past. I am called upon to help achieve the goals of the B team which are none other than a good presence in the Super League 2 championship and promotion – better preparation of young, mainly Greek footballers, for future staffing of the A team.

“THE GO ASTERAS TRIPOLIS announces the cooperation with the coach, Mr. Staikos Vergetis, who takes over Team B’ of the club.
Mr. Staikos Vergetis was born on July 11, 1976 in Tripoli. In 2000 he graduated from TEFAA Athens with a specialization in football and holds the UEFA Pro coaching degree.
He has worked at ASTERA TRIPOLIS for a total of more than ten years, taking over two terms as first coach and twice leading the team to its groups Europa League.
In his coaching career he has worked in New Salamina, Cyprus, in Glory of Dramain Victory of Volosto Of Ierapetra and to the Indian team, Roundglass Punjab FC.
We welcome Mr. Staiko Vergetis again to his family STARS and we wish him good success”.
