Reinforcement under the posts for Panseraikos, who have announced the signing of goalkeeper Luka Gugesashvili, who has signed a contract until the summer of 2026. PAE Panserraikos announces the start of its cooperation with the international Georgian goalkeeper Luka Gugeshashvili, who signed a two-year contract with our team, a few days after the completion of his obligations with the National team at Euro2024 and will wear the jersey with the lion in chest by 2026.
Luka Gugeshashvili was born in Tbilisi on 29/04/1999 and from January 2022 until recently he wore the jersey of the champion Azerbaijan Karabagh, having 45 appearances in domestic and European competitions, keeping 20 clean sheets. In fact, he won 3 championships and 2 Cups with the country’s top team.
He started his career in Dynamo Tbilisi’s academies, at a young age he moved to Poland for Jagiellonia and from there he went on loan to Dila Gori and Granada making more than 110 appearances over the years, forcing Qarabag to buy him.
The hulking 1.96m goalkeeper is an international with all of Georgia’s national teams, made his debut with the Men’s National Team in March 2023 and was in the squad that reached the last 16 of Euro 2024 in Germany, having earlier knocked out Our national team.
