Krejcikova triumphed against Paolini and won Wimbledon

This year’s winner Wimbledon the Krejcikova!

The 32-year-old Czech, number 32 in the world ranking, imposed with 2-1 sets (6-2, 2-6, 6-4) of the Italian woman, Jasmine Paoliniin the grand final held in London, celebrating her second Grand Slam title (at Roland Garros 2021 her first)!

Krejcikova made an impressive start to the grand final, making her first break with “good evening” and another for a 4-1 lead, eventually reaching the final comfortably 6-2 and at 1-0 in sets.

Paolini then fought back, found a rhythm and led 3-0, and 5-2, before leveling with a break in 6-2with the winner being decided in the third and final set.

There, Paolini opened with a love game and Krejcikova equalized by replying “with the same coin” and the two finalists went hand in hand in the score until 3-3 when the Czech broke, which effectively gave her the momentum which he needed, to reach the 6-4 and win the coveted title!

The sets: 6-2, 2-6, 6-4
