AEK is very pleased to announce the start of its collaboration with Veronika Trnikova. The international Czech center was born on October 13, 1995 and will strengthen the Women’s Volleyball section of the new season.
The Czech athlete started her career at PVK Olymp Praha, until she left for abroad, namely, for Germany in 2015, on behalf of VfB Suhl Lotto Thuringen. In the next two seasons he played again in the Czech Republic with VK Prostejov and in 2018 he transferred to VK UP Olomouc. In 2020 he moved to VK Dukla Liberec and in 2021 he traveled to Italy for Acqua & Sapone Roma Volley Club. He remained… Italian in the 2022/23 season as well, as he defended the colors of Wash4Green Pinerolo, while last season he competed for VK Prostejov. It should be noted that she is a collector of titles, as she has 4 Czech Championships, a Czech Cup and a MEVZA Tournament under her belt. But her most important achievement is at the national level, as she was a member of the “golden” Czech Republic of 2019, which won the European Championship.
On an individual level, Trnikova was the best blocker and attacker of the championship that ended in the Czech Republic, but also the best blocker and server of the 2022 European Championship. In 2021, she was named the best attacker of the European Championship!
