The 22-year-old centre-back has been a mainstay for Salernitana over the past two seasons, making a total of 56 appearances with 3 goals in all competitions. In the summer of 2023, the Italian team acquired him from Inter, paying the amount of 5 million euros, but the fact that he was relegated also led to his sale by the club. He has also played once for Inter’s first team, while also playing on loan at Monza.
In the Euro u21 qualifiers, the 1.88m tall stopper became the captain of the Italian national team, while he is international with all the small age groups of the “squadra azzura”, being a big project in Italian football.
A little later the news was also confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, saying that there is an absolute agreement and that Inter will also reap an amount after having kept a resale percentage. At the same time, he reiterated Olympiakos’ agreement with Martin Braithwaite.
