With the weather conditions over the track at the Hangaroring creating many and varied driving conditions, those who came out victorious in the end were Lando Norris and Oscar Piastriwho made it 1-2 for the British team, with the former even taking his second pole position of the season and third of his career!

The 24-year-old British pilot completed the process with the best time (1:15:227), leaving his stablemate behind by 22 thousandths of a second. Tomorrow’s race will start from third place on the grid Max Verstappenwith Saint, Hamilton and Leclerc rounding out the top six.
Big losers of the process were the Sergio Perez and George Russell, with the former having an accident at the start of qualifying and being ruled out, while the English Mercedes driver was unable to make it through Q1, knowing prematurely the disqualification!
