Panerythraikos: Moraitis renewed

For the fourth season he will play Ilias Moraitis to Pan-Erythraean. The 23-year-old guard, brother of Dimitris who plays for Panathinaikos and the Men’s National Team, missed all of last season due to a torn cruciate ligament.

Ready to return stronger than ever to the courts

The management of the basketball department of the Pan-Erythraiko AS announces the renewal of its cooperation with the athlete Ilias Moraitis, who continues in our team for the fourth consecutive year, being a typical example of our club’s philosophy at the competitive level and beyond.

Ilias continues for another competitive season at Stelios Kalaitzis Indoor and is ready to offer his services to Dimitris Houchoulis and his technical staff, after a year of patience, where he was asked to overcome the serious injury he suffered in the Final Four of the Elite League at the end of the 2022-2023 season.

Panerythraikos was at the side of Ilias, who stood strong all this time and, now, the dynamic of his return to the courts is expected, beginning with the new season.

In his first statements, after the renewal, Ilias Moraitis stated: “I am very happy, that I continue to wear the jersey of Panerythraikos for the third year in a row. I want to express my gratitude to the management of the club and the president, Dimitris Tsikopoulos, as well as the coach, Dimitris Houchoulis, for their undivided support during last year’s difficult season, where I was unable to compete due to my serious injury. The only thing I would like to add is that I will do everything in my power, upon my return, to repay this support on the court and help Panerythraikos achieve its goals in the new season».
