The new transfer acquisition of the “clover”, Tete, had his first training session with Panathinaikos on Friday afternoon (26/7).
The Brazilian signed a four-year contract with the “greens” and was on Thursday at OAKA where he was introduced to the world of the team and watched the match with Botev in which his team Diego Alonso prevailed 2-1 for the second qualifying round of the Europa League.
Tete posted on his personal account at Instagram a picture of him wearing the shirt with the ‘clover’ on the chest and got quite a few comments from friends and past teammates.
One of them was the former player of Olympiakos, but also their former teammate in Galatasaray, Cedric Bakabu. The Congolese striker had developed excellent relations with the 24-year-old Brazilian winger, who wished him success in the new start of his career, but begged him not to… score against the “red and whites”.
Specifically, Bakabu commented on Tete’s photo: “Good luck bro! And please don’t score against Olympiakos! Thank you very much”.
