In total, Greece won eleven medals, of which two gold, seven silver and two bronze. More specifically, the athletes who took the podium are: Vassilis Topalos, Anna-Maria Trifilli (gold), Georgios Pleas, Costas Sarigiannidis, Lefteris Tsevrenidis, Maria Georgopoulou, Ioanna Kantzaris, Zacharias Lagousis, Michalimas Roudassis (Michalis) Eleni Holidi (bronze).
The President of the Hellenic Boxing Federation, Haris Mariolis, welcomed the Greek delegation with flowers and congratulated all the athletes for their competitive ethos and their important performance, stating with excitement that:
“This is the boxing we dream of. The eleven medals that Greece won in the international tournament are a huge success and fill us with national pride. I feel very happy to be among athletes who are the present and the future of Greek sports.

Through the development and competition plan of the Federation and the systematic work done by the federal and club coaches, we have managed to make boxing even stronger, even more ‘brilliant’, in order for the sport to bring new successes to Greek sports, but and return even more dynamically internationally.
