Hercules: Announced Tsiakma

A good addition was made by Hercules in view of the new season in the Elite League, Erricos Dunan, as he announced his acquisition Nikos Tsiakmas. The 25-year-old guard (1.88m.) has been competing for the last two years in the Basket League with PAOK.

KAE HERACLIS announces the agreement with Nikos Tsiakmas, who signed a contract with our team for the 2024-2025 season.

Nikos Tsiakmas was born in Volos on October 29, 1999. He is 1.88 m tall and plays as a point guard.

He started playing basketball at the age of five in the academies of the Colossus of Rhodes. He returned to the capital of Magnesia and participated in the Niki Volos academies program, before settling permanently in Patras in 2008.

For eight years he was a player of Esperos Patras and then “moved” to the youth team of Prometheus, while in the next three years (2019-2022) he played for Apollos Patras.

In the first season (2019-2020) in the A2 league, he had 6.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists, in 20 games.

In the 2020-2021 season, he made a significant contribution to the promotion of the Patras team to A1, scoring 8.8 points, 2.5 assists and 1.3 rebounds, shooting 37.3% on three-pointers.

In his first season in the Basket League (2021-2022), with Apollo he scored 3.3 points, with 50% on three-point shots, in 19 games.

In the last two years (2022-2024) he wore the shirt of PAOK. In the first season (2022-2023) his numbers were: 3.4 points, 1.8 assists and 1.1 rebounds, in 30 matches in the Greek league and 1.6 points, in eight appearances in the Basketball Champions League.

Last year (2023-2024) he had 2.8 points, in 28 matches in the Basket League and 4.4 points, 2 rebounds and 1.4 assists, in nine appearances in the Basketball Champions League.

Nikos Tsiakmas is a graduate of the Law School of the University of Neapolis Pafos.
