Kokkinakis is AEK’s polo coach

One of the top water polo athletes born in our country, who has won 1 Championship and 2 Greek Cups, and with 2 participations in the Olympic Games with our representative group, hangs up his cap and takes over the technical leadership of the “Union”. In the last two years, he honored the colors of AEK as an athlete, but also as a manager in the infrastructure departments of “Dikefalos”, while he was next to Konstantinos Dandolos as an assistant in the second half of last year’s season.

Kostas Kokkinakis said to “aek.gr”: “I feel happy that AEK is giving me the opportunity to coach the men’s team in the sport I served for so many years as an athlete. Last year, from the middle of the year, I had the double role of player-coach together with Konstantinos Dandolos. It will be a difficult year, because for various reasons, the planning of the team was delayed, but I hope that we will succeed.
