Second defeat for the men’s national volleyball team from Switzerland

Another defeat for the women’s national volleyball team. The representative group lost 1-3 sets to Switzerland in the second warm-up friendly between them indoors in Naples and showed that some things need work.

The federal coach, Kostas Christofidelis, divided the participation time quite widely, using most of the athletes at his disposal. Only Charalambos Andreopoulos and Dimitris Theodosis, in his debut for the National Team, competed in the entire match, while Thanasis Protopsaltis, Giorgos Papalexiou, Alexandros Raptis, Aris Chandrinos and Stavros Kasampalis did not play today.

The match was balanced from start to finish and mistakes made the difference, with Greece having 12 more.

Andreopoulos was the top scorer of the match with 18 points, while Dimitris Mouchlias scored 12 in two sets. In his first game, Theodosis scored 8 points.

The two teams will meet in the third and final friendly on Friday at 19:00.
