The administration of PAE Makedonikos is pleased to announce the start of its collaboration with the footballer Alexandros Kartalis!
The 29-year-old (29/01/1995) midfielder was born and raised in Germany, specifically in Nuremberg, where he took his first football steps in the SG Nuremberg-Firth team (from 2001 and remained until 2004).
Kartalis then transferred to Groeter Firth, where he joined in 2004 and stayed for 14 years, until 2018. The Greek left-footed footballer managed to show his talent and skills, both at U17, U19 and was promoted to the club first team in the 2014-15 season. During his time in Greuter, Kartalis recorded a total of 110 appearances, eight goals and eight assists. Afterwards, Kartalis was loaned by Greuther to Aalen for two seasons (2015-17), where he had a very good presence in the third division of the German league (3. Liga), counting 53 appearances, four goals and three assists. In the 2017-18 season he returned to Greuther and with the second team played in 28 games, scoring three times and providing two assists.
The next team on German soil for Kartalis was Zwickau. He went there in 2018 and stayed for one season on loan from Groeter Firth. 28 appearances and one assist was the tally of the 29-year-old midfielder in the third division team. Somewhere there, his course in the German stadiums ended, as in the summer of 2019 he made the decision to come to Greece on behalf of PAS Ioannina. With the Ioannina team, in the first year he had 16 appearances, two goals and one assist and managed to win promotion to the major division, in the Championship that never ended due to covid-19. In the 2020-21 season he competed with PAS in Super League 1 and the Greek Cup, having played in 35 matches and scoring one goal and five assists.
In the 2021-22 season, Kartalis was announced by Atromitos and wore the jersey of the Peristeri club and recorded 17 appearances in the Greek Championship and Cup. The 29-year-old footballer’s last team was NPS Volos, where he joined in the second half of the 2022-23 season and played in 17 games, also providing one assist.
Now, Kartalis will wear the green of Macedonian and is ready for the new challenge of his career, aiming for new successes and new collective and personal memories with our team.
