Greek Boxing European Champion once again with 4 Silver Medals and 3 Fifth Places

Today is a big day for Greek Boxing as in the finals of the EUBC Schoolboys & Schoolgirls European Boxing Championships 2024, which took place in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Konstantinoudis Alexandros, Zournatzis Eleftherios, Petritsi Panagiota and Karpozilou Dimitra won (4) four silver medals, reaching the “magic” number of 120 medals for Greek Boxing in International Events and 3 Fifth places. The excellent Dumazios Konstantinos could very well with his appearance “give” another medal to the Greek team, but he ended up in 5th place.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the four Greek athletes who represented Greece in the finals of their categories and won the four silver medals are:

Petritsi Panagiota (54 kg) who faced Letitia McKee from England.

Dimitra Karpozilou (64 kg) who competed against Gaia Caldarella from Italy.

Konstantinoudis Alexandros (40 kg) against Avram Tseboev from Russia.

Zournatzis Eleftherios (52 kg) facing the Armenian Eduard Karamyan.

The 3 Fifth places were occupied by: Doumazios Konstantinos, Leon Maria Evangelia and Golfinopoulou Vasiliki.

The record of success of the Greek boxers at the EUBC Schoolboys & Schoolgirls European Boxing Championships 2024 is indeed impressive. The huge distinction with four silver medals and 3 fifth places, in such an important championship shows the strength and quality of Greek Boxing. These achievements contribute significantly to the overall tally of Greek Boxing, reaching the impressive number of 120 medals in International Events. This unprecedented success shows the continued progress and high quality of Greek Boxing, offering inspiration and hope for the future of the Sport in the country.

Immediately after the conclusion of the Pan-European Championship and another great achievement of our National Team with the winning of 4 silver medals, the Administration of the Hellenic Boxing Federation congratulated the Greek Mission stating the following:
