With an announcement by KAE Olympiacos announced that the Single Member Court of First Instance of Athens rejected Dimitris Giannakopoulos’ requestaccording to which he requested the deletion of two announcements by the “red and whites”, on 16/4 and 27/7 and at the same time requested a statement of retraction and apology.
The announcement of KAE Olympiacos:
“On 8/8/24 the Single-Member Court of First Instance of Athens rejected the request of D. Giannakopoulos that KAE OLYMPIAKOS be obliged by a temporary injunction to delete its announcements of 16/4/24 and 27/7/24, which referred to the known provocative his posts and to make a public statement of retraction and apology to D. Giannakopoulos.
Among other things, D. Giannakopoulos claimed before the Court that his vulgar attack from 26/7/24 (“you will spit out your mother’s milk”) did not allegedly refer to the owners of KAE OLYMPIAKOS but to unknown third parties.
With the rejection of the request for a temporary injunction, D. Giannakopoulos’ attempt to abdicate his responsibilities and silence us fell flat.
KAE OLYMPIAKOS has appealed to the competent institutional and judicial authorities regarding the behavior of D. Giannakopoulos and will continue to inform the sports fans about it, as it has the right and obligation to do».
