On Tuesday, Xenia Petta and Virginia Fella became members of AEK. The Amateur Union announced the acquisition of the 25-year-old grounder and the 19-year-old regional player for the next year.

“AEK is pleased to announce the start of its cooperation with Xenia Petta. The 25-year-old (06/05/1999) footballer signed her contract and joins the club’s women’s polo team.
Xenia Petta started polo from the Olympiakos Academies, winning 2 Young Women’s Championships, while also winning 1 Championship with the women’s team. In the three years 2018-2021, he wore the cap of Ethnikos Piraeus, reaching the third place of the first division, while also participating in the LEN Champions League. In the last three years (2021-2024) he was the leader of the General Assembly of Peristeri.
After the agreement was formalized, Xenia Petta said to aek.gr: “I am happy to be an AEK player now and I sincerely thank the team for their trust. I will try, for my part, to help the team fulfill its goals in the new competitive year. I wish us to be healthy and have an appetite for good games.”

“AEK is pleased to announce the start of its cooperation with Virginia Fella. The 19-year-old (11/10/2005) regional player signed her contract and joins the club’s women’s polo team.
Virginia Fella started polo from the Academies of Piraeus National, reaching the first team, with which she won second place in A1 in 2022. In the 2022-23 season she wore the cap of AEK, while last season she competed with colors of the Elysian.
After the formalization of the agreement, Virginia Fella said to aek.gr: “I am very happy that from this year I will be playing for the AEK team. I wish we have a season with health, without injuries and I hope to contribute as much as possible so that the team can achieve its goals at every level”.
