On his feelings about the new adventure in his career: “First of all I want to say that I am very happy to belong to PAOK, to this great club with a very large fan base. Everything happened quickly. I talked to some former players of the team. Ekong, Meite, Samata who told me many nice things about the team and especially about the huge number of friends in the team, which also happens in Turkey. This for me is a great motivation because the best feeling is to have the support of the fans in every game. I think this is a great advantage. I also spoke with the coach, the vice-president, the manager and they assured me that I will be really happy here and so everything happened very quickly, without having to think too much to decide to come. Talking to all these people I felt that this is a club that runs like a family and everything is easier when you have the family by your side in everything you do. So I discussed with my wife, with my family and I decided to come and help as much as I can to defend the title, to continue like last season. I always strive for the best and combined with my experience, I hope we achieve great things.”
