Alberti’s return to Panathinaikos: He assumes the role of European Ambassador

Panathinaikos AKTOR has announced that the emblematic captain of the team is taking over European Ambassadoranother position from which the “clover” will serve after those of the coach, the General Manager, the Team Manager and also the director of the Academies.

He stated himself excited for this development, emphasizing how “everyone knows the bond I have with Panathinaikos and my love for this team. It goes without saying that I’m glad to be back, but it still felt like I’d always been there.”.

OR KAE Panathinaikos AKTOR announces his return Francis Albertis in his “home”, from the position of the European Ambassador.

Its iconic leader Panathinaikou he played for 19 years with the green jersey (1990-2009) celebrating 25 titles, while after the end of his great sports career he continued to serve the team in various positions.

In particular, he was a coach, General Manager, Team Manager, and also director of the Academies, further enriching his rich collection of titles with Panathinaikos.

Francis Albertis will meet in the team people with whom he had worked for many years, a fact particularly important for him: “It is a big deal for me that I will meet again people I know well and have worked with for many years, such as Sani (s.s. Bechirovits), Dimitris (s.s. Kontos), Savvas (s.s. p. Aronis) and several more children who are in the team, with the exception -unfortunately- of the great loss of our Paris”commented.
