The Legends of Euro 2004 at the event “Athens, 20 years later” on September 19 in Kallimarmaro

The legendary National Football Team that won Euro 2004 will be honored by the Hellenic Olympic Committee at the event on September 19 at the Panathenaic Stadium, entitled “Athens, 20 years later”.

The 2004 European champions, together with the architect of the success, coach Otto Rehagel, will be honored for their enormous contribution to Greek sports and will parade together, enjoying the adulation of thousands of fans.

In this event, the protagonists of the historic year of Greek sports will be honored and, in addition to the international football players, those who contributed, worked and voluntarily participated in the preparation and organization of the Olympic and Paralympic Games “Athens 2004”, will also be honored, as well as the athletes of the Greek delegation to the Olympic and Paralympic Games “Paris 2024”, which gave unique moments of pride to all Greeks.
