He continues his strengthening ahead of the new season in Super League 2 o Macedonian!
The Nea Efkarpia team announced the acquisition of the Portuguese winger, Miguel Tavaresin the form of a loan from Panathinaikos.
He joined the “greens” in the summer of 2022 when he left his country, having a contract until 2027 and a total of 22 appearances with 4 goals and 3 assists in two seasons with Panathinaikos II.
The Macedonian announcement:
“The administration of PAE Makedonikos is pleased to announce the start of its cooperation with the footballer Miguel Lamego Tavares, who was acquired on loan from PAE Panathinaikos!
Miguel Tavares was born on the 29th of January 1999 in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal and plays as a left winger, uses both feet equally, having good technical characteristics which help him break down opposition defences.
He started football from the academy of Candal, to move to Estareja and then to Porto. Nogueirense and Amarante followed, for him to come to our country in the summer of 2022 for Panathinaikos and immediately develop into a key member of the second team. With the trefoil shirt in the last two seasons, he played in 24 games in Super League 2, scoring four goals and providing three assists.
The management of the club welcomes Miguel to the big “green” family and wishes him health and many successes!
In his first statements, Tavares said the following: “I’m happy to be here. I appreciate the club’s interest in me. I will give back with goals and good performances to help the team achieve their goals.”
