PAOK “bent” on the details

A losing start for PAOK. The “two-headed” lost 10-12 to the German Spandau in the premiere of the seventh qualifying group of the Men’s Polo Champions League and will wait for the matches against Brescia, ENKA and Oradea to claim qualification.

The “black and white” fought throughout the match and lost in the details.

In the first eight minutes, Spandau took a 2-0 lead, but PAOK with a 3-0 run reached 3-2 with offensive polyphony at the end of the first period.

At the start of the second eight minutes, Bitsakos made it 2-4 for the “doubleheader” on the player above. Spandau equalized 4-4, Delic made it 4-5 and the half ended 5-5.

In the third eight minutes, Delic, Koopman brought the score to 7-7, but Spandau reached 9-7 at the end of the third period.

The fourth quarter started with the Germans leading 10-7. PAOK dropped to 10-9 and 11-10, but Spandau reached 12-10.

On Friday at 20:30, PAOK will face Brescia.
