K. Konstantinopoulos climbed to the 1st place in the Greek table tennis ranking

As the start of the table tennis competitions approaches (28-29/09 with the development championship of Heraklion Attica), the E.F.O.E.P.A. classically issued the first rankings for the new season and they reserved a significant change, as they included the results from two events that, due to postponement, took place in the summer: the A1 National men’s division playoffs for places 1-4 and the promotion play-offs from the B’ National Men’s to the A2 National category, which were held in June. Now, all the matches so far have been calculated, so we are essentially talking about the September 2024 tables.

Konstantinopoulos of Panathinaikos was back at the top after a long time. He moved up one place and overtook Yiannis Sgouropoulos of Olympiakos by just 4.5 points. The first has 2,856.5 and the second 2,852.

Constantinos Angelakis and Panagiotis Gionis, also of Panathinaikos, also had a point improvement, while Tasos Riniotis of Olympiakos came out of the top five (he dropped to number 6 from 4).

From then on, since there was no other competitive action in the summer season, there were also no notable changes in the ranking.
