Corinthians and São Paulo fans clashed at the CPTM (Companhia de Trens Metropolitanos) Primavera-Interlagos station, in the south of the city of São Paulo, on Saturday night (5). The confrontation took place a few hours after the end of the classic between the two teams, in Morumbi, for Paulista.
According to ViaMobilidade, the concessionaire responsible for line 9-Esmeralda, the confusion at the station started around 8:40 pm. Due to the fight, the Grajaú direction was out of operation for 15 minutes, between 8:41 pm and 8:56 pm.
The company also reported that four people were arrested and sent to Delpom (Police Station of the Metropolitano), located at Barra Funda station.
According to ViaMobilidade, the conflict began on the street. “One of the groups ran into the station being chased by the other group,” reads an excerpt from the statement. The note also points out that there were no reports of injuries in the dependencies of the line.
On Twitter, a user reported what he saw when he witnessed the conflict. “It was terrifying to go through all this. These feuds need to end as soon as possible.”

The match between Corinthians and São Paulo, valid for the Paulista Championship, was played at the Morumbi stadium, in the west side, and was won by the tricolor team, 1-0.
