THE AEK with their leaders Keno Colom and Nikos Pappas got a tremendous victory in the details with 77-75 on the way to the play-offs. As much as Apollon Patras fought throughout the match, they lost the pink card of the match for a shot.

The most valuable player was Kino Colom, but Nikos Pappas and Ian Hamer could very well be honored.

For the guests, Jerel Simmons stood out with 18 points while in the same number, George Tsalbouris stopped in combination with 13 rebounds, but he was fatal in the end.

The last period developed into a personal affair for both Kino Colom and Nikos Pappas, where the two AEK regional players cut and sewed, giving a 70-57 lead. The match took place rodeo towards the end (76-75), with Apollon taking advantage of AEK’s mistakes and having the opportunity to win, but first Tsalbouris’s misplaced three-pointer and then the wrong return to 2.9 seconds before the end formed the final 77-75.
