PAOK mateco’s European journey for the 2024-25 season did not stop in Antalya, but will continue at the FIBA ​​Europe Cup. Where our team already knows the three teams it will have in the same group and which it will face, as well as potential opponents in the continuation of the competition.

PAOK mateco is in the 9th group of the competition and will have as opponents Porto, Szolnoki from Hungary and Limburg from Belgium, with whom they will meet for the first time. History has recorded two meetings (and two PAOK wins) against Porto (in the Euroleague in the 1997-98 season) and another two games (one win and one loss) against Szolnoki in the 2015-16 season.

According to the FIBA ​​Europe Cup system, the regular season has 40 teams, divided into 10 groups of 4 and the first from each group and the 6 best runners-up advance to the next stage.

In the round of 16 there are 4 groups of 4 teams, therefore 6 more games for PAOK mateco. From there, the top two (2) from each group advance to the quarterfinals. Up until the final, double matches are played (home and away) and what counts is the total points difference.
