For last season: “Last year was not very good, at least for me personally. Some may say that individually we had some good days, but in the end we lost the championship which was our main goal, we lost the cup… I think this year we have to build solid foundations for when the time comes to be strong and manage to get the titles we want must”

For roster changes: “It’s easy, all we have to learn is that in volleyball there are 15 players and a coach. We have to become one, play for each other, no one should see it individually, because we all lose together, we all celebrate together, we all get the titles together. No one is alone, individually no one can win. Unfortunately it is a very team sport that needs to play for each other and needs a lot of chemistry. We have to build it through training every day.”

On his personal goals: “Panathinaikos has been making a very good effort in recent years. My goal is to win any game, I will say, because the games bring the titles, that is, any game we play, we have to be serious, win every game we play and then at the end, hopefully we get all the titles”
